The table presents reserve money of the central bank (M0) and money supply M1, M2 and M3 with a monthly frequency from December 1996. Starting from March 2002, broad money M3 became basic analytical and publication category of money supply in Poland. Moreover, narrow money M1 and intermediate money M2 are calculated.

Starting from end-July 2007 reporting period the methodology of compiling certain monetary aggregates - disseminated below in Excel files - has been changed. For the purposes of comparability historical data have been adjusted (time series subject to changes marked in red). Related detailed information is included in the PDF file attached.

The table presents Divisia index for M1, M2 and M3. Data are available quarterly and monthly from December 1996.

NOTE! Starting from dissemination of end-March 2010 data, the National Bank of Poland introduces changes in its Website statistical presentation Assets and liabilities of monetary financial institutions. The data in new structure are available from March 2002. As less informational items with minor economic vale were deleted, the methodology of compiling Divisia indexes was changed.
