The Statutes of the Service

The www.nbp.pl domain and its subdomains are the online services owned by the National Bank of Poland, with the principal office registered in Warsaw at ulica Świętokrzyska 11/21, hereinafter referred to as the NBP. Any person who proceeds to use these web services thus acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions presented below.

In so far as the applicable laws impose onto the NBP a statutory obligation to report and publish specific information on its websites under the general law, the NBP is fully responsible for the contents of the information available to the public.

With reference to information, materials and other contents published by the NBP on its website, the publication of which is not mandated by the Polish law, the NBP makes every effort to ensure that the information contained on the website is complete and correct. That notwithstanding, the Bank cannot guarantee its accuracy and assumes no liability for any damages arising from its use and/or the consequences of decisions taken on its basis.

At the same time, the NBP reserves the right to make changes to some and/or all of the service without prior notification. The National Bank of Poland does not object to downloading the files, copying pages in whole or in part, and making printouts for personal or business use, provided they do not serve commercial purposes.

The National Bank of Poland does not object to creating connections through links with the website of the NBP, provided the source is indicated, and the contents of the material have not been modified and/or distorted. While posting links to the NBP website, the NBP services should be available in a separate window. While using materials from the NBP website, the source must be indicated and a link must be provided to the site www.nbp.pl.

The National Bank of Poland is not responsible for the contents of any websites linked to this Internet service through references (links) to or from these sites. The National Bank of Poland disclaims all and any liability for all and any damage resulting from reliance on the information presented. The risk for the use of such websites is entirely borne by the user.

Technical Objections

Excessive and/or unreasonable load of resources from the National Bank of Poland’s website, including, but not limited to, automatic downloading of the contents, may, in special cases, qualify as a DoS attack (Denial of Service) and result in a temporary blockade of the downloader's IP.
