MICRO-DYN (stands for 'Micro-Dynamics') is an international economic research project dealing with the competitiveness of firms, regions and industries in the knowledge-based economy in Europe.
The central research objective of the project is to address in a comprehensive and methodologically coherent way some of the core driving forces of innovation, competitiveness, employment and growth in the contemporary European economy.
National Bank of Poland, Economic Institute, participates in the MICRO-DYN research consortium and now host 1th MICRO-DYN Summer School, dedicated to method of firm-level analysis joined with 3th MICRO-DYN Seminar devoted to present current stage of research selected teams of working parties of MICRO-DYN.
There will be sessions devoted to methodological training in the areas of dynamic panel data analysis and half-day sessions dedicated to the presentation of research results both by external eminent speakers, young researchers and project participants to the research agenda of Work Packages of MICRO-DYN (see program).
