Financial Accounts

The revised version of the financial accounts was published on 30 October 2014 (the largest change concerns the value of non-consolidated transactions in the 1st quarter 2014 in long-term debt securities for the general government sector).

Quarterly financial accounts

Quarterly financial accounts present financial assets and liabilities of resident entities, grouped into sectors and subsectors, and the rest of the world (non-residents) broken down by financial operations represented by financial instruments. Data is compiled in line with the ESA 2010 standards and taking into consideration the ECB requirements.

Quarterly financial accounts comprise non-consolidated stock data (financial balance sheets) and transaction data covering period starting from 4th quarter 2003 for financial balance sheets and from 1st quarter 2004 for transactions.

Regular publication of quarterly financial accounts takes place on the 20th calendar day of the 4th month following the end of reference quarter, i.e. on the 20th of January, April, July and October.

Time series are available as a Pivot table (xlsx). Data for the recent quarter, presented in the standard layout for financial accounts, is available additionally in a separate file (xlsx).

Annual financial accounts

Annual financial accounts present financial assets and liabilities of resident entities, grouped into sectors and subsectors, and the rest of the world (non-residents) broken down by financial operations represented by financial instruments. Data is compiled in line with the ESA 2010 standards and taking into consideration the Eurostat requirements.

Annual financial accounts comprise non-consolidated and consolidated stock data (financial balance sheets) from 2003 as well as non-consolidated and consolidated transaction data from 2004.

Regular publication of annual financial accounts takes place on the 20th of April next year together with the publication of quarterly data for the 4th quarter. Annual data are updated along with following publications of quarterly data.

Time series are available as a pivot table (xlsx). Data for the recent year is available additionally in a separate file (xlsx).
