Leszek Balcerowicz Pays a Visit to Berlin

Leszek Balcerowicz will participate in the Polish and German Economic Talks that take place in Berlin on April 5th. The President of the NBP will deliver a speech on Poland's economic situation in the light of its future European Union membership.
During the visit, he will also hold a meeting with Finance Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Hans Eichel, and Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Manfred Stolpe.
The initiators and organizers of annual Polish and German European Talks are the German and Polish Association of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Federation of Economic Chambers and the Polish and German Association for Economy Support S.A.
Participants of the meetings are, inter alia, CEO's of the biggest private banks and banks of Germany's states, CEO's of the biggest German companies that cooperate with Polish companies or intend to cooperate, members of Germany's Parliament, Bundestag, and members of Landtag, and politicians at ministerial posts of Germany's states, Berlin and Brandenburg.
The purpose of the Talks is the promotion of Poland, including the information on our economy, among the representatives of German economic and political circles.
During the meeting, Leszek Balcerowicz will deliver a speech entitled "Poland's Economic Situation in the Light of its Future European Union Membership".
In Berlin, the President of the NBP, Leszek Balcerowicz, will also meet Finance Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Hans Eichel, and Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Manfred Stolpe.
